There are 3 ways to acquire a new D’Pergo guitar.

1. Purchase a showroom instrument
2. Place a custom order
3. Showroom builds

These are new instruments that are in our showroom and are currently available. The combinations of materials and options on these instruments were chosen specifically by Stefan and therefore cannot be altered. In order to reserve an instrument a non refundable 25 % deposit is required to hold the instrument for a period of 10 days, at which time the full balance is due.

Commission a custom built D’Pergo made especially for your unique player profile. The process begins with a design consultation with the builder. This is a scheduled appointment during which a custom instrument build sheet is created that outlines the details and recommendations for your custom order. The cost of the consultation and documentation is $300 and is applied to your custom order/purchase.

The custom build sheet documents your preferences and options in addition to Stefan’s recommendations. This build sheet will be sent to you for review. It must be signed and returned to us to begin work on your order. A 50% deposit is required to reserve your custom order time. When the deposit is received, time and materials will be allotted for your guitar. If any changes are made to the custom order that affect pricing, the difference will be reflected in the balance due. All sales are final.

Upon completion of your consultation, build sheet, and receipt of deposit /payment, you will receive an approximate delivery date. Please note that this date is an estimate of when the order will be completed. For orders that have a remaining balance, final payment is due prior to the shipping of the instrument. The company will notify the customer by email when their instrument is scheduled to be completed.

Materials are reserved and time is scheduled when the deposit and the signed Build Sheet are received. Custom orders are not started until we have received both a deposit and approved Build Sheet. Please contact the company for current lead times and scheduling.

A showroom build is an instrument that is in the process of being created for our own showroom, which can be reserved prior to its completion. Stefan has hand-selected materials for these instruments and specifically combined the components to deliver legendary D’Pergo tone. Our pre-payment accommodation is recommended for purchasing a showroom instrument, nearing completion. Some custom options and preferences may be available to suit your player profile, depending upon the point in the build process. Any alterations from the original build sheet will depend on what stage of construction the instrument is currently in. Custom options to fit a players profile recommendations require a consultation with the builder.

D’Pergo Guitars offers a unique accommodation for orders paid in full on new custom orders, or new builds that are already in production and available for purchase. This accommodation can only be applied to instruments that have not yet been completed. New available instruments and certified pre-owned guitars are not eligible for this accommodation.
